On Tuesday 5th October Jesús Ulargui is going to participate in the debate "La escasa valoración del trabajo realizado por los arquitectos en los concursos” organized by the COAM at the construction exhibition CONSTRUTEC '10.

El COAM debatirá en Construtec sobre la escasa valoración del trabajo realizado por los arquitectos en los concursos

El debate tendrá lugar en la Feria de Madrid el próximo mes de octubre

El Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de Madrid (COAM), con el apoyo del Consejo Superior de los Colegios de Arquitectos de España (CSCAE), celebrará un foro de debate en torno a la escasa valoración del trabajo que los arquitectos realizan en la elaboración de las propuestas que presentan a concurso. El debate tendrá lugar en la Feria de Madrid, Ifema, los días 5 y 6 de octubre, durante la celebración del próximo Salón de la Construcción, Construtec'10.

La finalidad de este certamen, abierto a todos los agentes implicados en los concursos de arquitectura, es buscar alternativas a la actual Ley de Contratos del Sector Público. Así, el COAM propone abrir el debate cuestionando la aplicación que las administraciones hacen de la ley. Concretamente, el Colegio de Arquitectos denuncia la primacía de criterios administrativos y económicos, en detrimento de aspectos técnicos y profesionales, en la resolución de las convocatorias y la baja dotación de los premios que se otorgan. En este sentido, reclama un mayor reconocimiento por un trabajo que contribuye a enriquecer y elevar el patrimonio cultural y que supone una oportunidad para la investigación y la búsqueda de empleo.
